Born: Manchester, England, July 4, 1958.
Played 31 games for Canada. Clubs Oldham Athletic 1976-79, Vancouver Whitecaps 1979-84, West Bromwich Albion 1984-1986, Vancouver 86ers 1987-92. Although he started his career with Oldham he first came to prominence with the Whitecaps but when the NASL folded returned to England to sign for West Bromwich Albion where he played in 44 Football League games and scored 6 goals. He returned from England to make his debut for Canada in the final World Cup qualifying game in 1985 and despite a bad case of influenza assisted on both goals in a 21 victory over Honduras. In 1986 played in all three games in the World Cup finals. When Vancouver 86ers began play in 1987 he became a fixture in the line up and later became the club's coach in the A League.
