Born: Port of Spain, Trinidad, December 30, 1932.
Came to Saskatoon in 1953 as a student and went on to obtain pharmaceutical and medical degrees from the University of Saskatchewan. He also holds a fellowship in orthopaedics at the University of Ottawa. Played recreational soccer most of his life in high school, college and university. Physician for the Ottawa Rough Riders of the Canadian Football League for 20 years and also with the Ottawa 67s junior hockey team.
Now holding both Canadian and Trinidadian citizenship he has worked tirelessly as a volunteer leading the Canadian Soccer Association Medical Committee for over 20 years. He first travelled with the Canadian Men's Soccer Team in 1984 and has been with many of the teams since that time. He set up the Medical Committee and program for the CSA. He has been Canada's representative on the FIFA Medical Committee for many years and has been a major contributor in many areas including research and drug doping.
He is respected world wide and is often requested to speak internationally, on behalf of Canada, at medical/soccer conferences.
